"I not only use all the brains I have, but all I can borrow."
When recruiting members of your change project team, seek out diversity of views and representation from as broad a perspective as possible. Our high level of self-confidence probably contributed to our selection as a change leader. The biggest danger though is to lead a change project in a vacuum. As change leaders we need to build coalitions. One way to do this is to seek council from as many sources as possible. You are the leader and must make the final decision but it's critical to ensure that all perspectives are considered.
