Active communication is the answer to this conventional wisdom from Mr. Churchill. By active communication, we mean aggressively anticipating the communication needs of our constituents. A vacuum will be filled. The key is to make sure that as the change leader we have some input to how the vacuum is filled. Whenever we feel that there is nothing to communicate, that is a sign that a vacuum is developing. Will the communication vacuum it be filled with lies while the truth is getting its pants on?
