"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
The best lessons are taught by example. Acceptance of change is a process. Change leaders begin the process earlier than their constituents. It is important to remember that while this process is occurring for the change leader all are watching, looking for insights into what they will experience in the near future. Change leaders model the behavior that will occur within the larger population. If the change leaders do not use the best approaches in adapting to the change, recording the process in order to empathize with the larger group and make it easier for them there is little hope the larger group will handle the change as we would like.
