At some point we actually have to do the work and implement. The change leader bounces between the high level view (generalities) and the low level view (details) many times in any given day. Striking the appropriate balance and communicating with specific constituents at the level where they currently reside, and influencing the individuals to the level required for success at the moment is truly an art. Why do people resist? - The details. What causes the roadblocks to completion? - The details. What motivates people? - A vision of the details. We live in the details.
