Stakeholder Needs
Find out what your stakeholders need. Meet with representatives of each stakeholder group. Learn what their needs are. What are the constraints they live with? How can your change initiative contribute to their success? What else is on their plate? Can we help get some of their goals accomplished while furthering our change effort? Get practical. Involve the stakeholder. The more involved stakeholders feel in assessing the need for change and shaping the nature of the change, the more prepared they will be to commit to change and contribute to the success of the change you represent.
