Questions or Answers

People make decisions when they come up with the solution themselves. As Change Leaders it is important to trust that each person has their own best answers. While we all try to sell our ideas and opinions we have to give up the need to be right. Our role should be to support others in discovering the best solution. Non-manipulative questions can help identify what is missing or needs to be fixed and determine if the solution is readily apparent or if an external solution is needed. By helping people come up with their own solutions decision making time will shrink and decisions will have their own champions.
