Don't Wait To Be A Change Leader

At what level of the organization should change leadership reside? The answer: anywhere and everywhere. Change leadership happens where the change leader is. Top down is not the only way. Yes, it's critical to have executive buy in but it's impossible for the executive management team to know everything they need to know to lead change throughout the organization. The job of the executive team is to create an environment that fosters analysis, challenge, and innovation. Don't wait to be promoted to begin to lead change. No one else has your perspective on your organization.
