Designated Listeners

Key project communication events require designated listeners. These are team members assigned to closely watch and listen to certain constituents in the meeting for their reactions to specific points. You're busy presenting and will miss things. Your designated listeners will notice the hidden reactions that are difficult for you as a presenter to recognize. The debrief about what the designated listeners saw and heard after the meeting is valuable for you as the change leader and is a great teaching opportunity too.
