When dealing with multiple projects that make up a change initiative the biggest danger are the tasks that fall through the cracks. It may be wise to assign individuals part-time responsibility for shepherding these functions across projects. Areas in which this may apply are systems and technology, human resources, communication, change, process flows, or facilities. It is important to make clear that this person's role is coordination and support rather than full responsibility for successful implementation. This remains the role of the project manager.
