Breakdown Barriers
What are the organizational walls that will prohibit change? Some basic questions: Is the compensation/incentive plan consistent with our change? Will the current management hierarchy handle the change well? Are we inherently introducing a new organizational approach, like teams, that will require implementation as a prerequisite for our change? It is necessary to cross boundaries to solve core issues prior to successful change implementation. Don't avoid conflict, the friction will produce a better way. "It's not my job" is not an acceptable stance when leading change.
