Assign Someone for Each Major Stakeholder

After identifying the key stakeholders for your project, assign a project team member the part-time job to "be" the stakeholder in all project discussions and decisions. The team member learns enough about the stakeholder to represent their views. This requires regular attention to that stakeholder. It's too easy to forget about key stakeholder needs without this level of attention.
